Not ready for a full agency retainer? You don't need one yet.

Most agency retainers bundle in an account manager, a strategist and a media buyer, a relay team between you and whoever is actually touching your campaigns. You pay for that layer whether it moves the numbers or not.

Working directly with one specialist means the same senior-level thinking, account architecture, tracking, testing, and a weekly read on the numbers reaches you without the relay. Engagements begin with an audit, and grow only once the account has actually outgrown that scope.

Match the level of involvement to the size of the problem, not the other way around.

003 / 010 · Why work with a specialist

Benefits of a dedicated Google Ads specialist.

The first thing worth doing isn't a new campaign. It's an audit of what's already tracking, what isn't, and where the budget is actually going. Here's what that discipline buys you.

A single point of accountability

Tracking, structure, creative and reporting are built by the same person, so they're designed to work together from day one, not stitched together across departments.

Direct access, always

You're talking to the person managing your account, not an account manager relaying updates from someone else.

Measurement comes first

No campaign gets scaled on top of tracking that hasn't been verified. That discipline is where most wasted ad spend actually comes from.

Built across five markets

Five-plus years managing accounts for businesses in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, alongside the Bangladesh market.

The four-step method

01

Audit

Identify budget leaks, tracking gaps, and funnel drop-off points before anything gets rebuilt.

02

Architect

Rebuild tracking, account structure, and testing frameworks on a foundation that holds.

03

Launch & Test

Structured testing across creative, audience, and landing pages: measured, not guessed.

04

Optimize & Scale

Budget follows what the now-accurate data shows is working.

Where the leverage actually sits in a Google Ads account.

Most accounts don't underperform because of weak creative or a low budget. They underperform because the tracking underneath them is broken, or the account structure was never built around how the business actually converts.

So the work starts with measurement: what's actually being tracked, what's missing, and what the numbers would show if they were accurate. Campaign structure, bidding and creative come after that, because optimizing on top of bad data is what makes ad spend expensive.

Every engagement is scoped to the account in front of me. If it needs a full rebuild, that's the starting point. If it just needs a second set of eyes on what's already running, that's fine too.

What a Digital Marketing Specialist is actually responsible for.

An agency executes campaigns. A specialist decides what the campaigns are for: what the account is accountable for this quarter, which channels are worth the budget, and what the reporting shows when it's read honestly.

I've spent five-plus years managing Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts directly rather than delegating them, so the work starts with structure: tracking, account architecture, a testing plan, a reporting cadence. Execution comes after, and it performs better because there's something holding it up.

I work with eCommerce and service businesses in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and with businesses here in Bangladesh.

004 / 010 · Choosing who to hire

What actually makes someone the best digital marketer in Bangladesh?

"Best" depends entirely on what you need done and who's meant to be held to it. A title on its own doesn't answer that. Three questions narrow it down faster than a portfolio will.

Ask what they're accountable for.

Someone running execution (the ads, the creative, the day-to-day) is measured on output. Someone brought in to own the account is measured on whether it compounds: conversion rate, cost per acquisition, revenue. Hiring one when you needed the other is where budget gets wasted.

Ask to see the tracking setup, not just a results screenshot.

A good month is easy to screenshot. It's harder to open the GTM container, explain how conversions are actually being counted, and be straight about a campaign that underperformed and why.

Confirm who's actually hands-on.

It's common for the person who pitches the engagement to hand execution to someone more junior once it's signed. That doesn't happen here. Every account is run by me, personally, across five-plus years and clients in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Bangladesh.

Location matters less than it used to. Whether you're in Dhaka or overseas, the engagement runs on the same weekly reporting rhythm and the same direct line to me.

Shopify eCommerce

Meta Ads attribution rebuild

Problem
Meta Ads attribution had quietly broken, undercounting purchases and skewing ROAS reporting.
What I did
Rebuilt it with a custom Shopify Customer Events data layer, using a postMessage architecture to work around checkout sandbox isolation.
Result
Career Services, US

Google Ads architecture rebuild

Problem
Campaign structure wasn't aligned to geography, and offline conversions weren't reflecting real deal value.
What I did
Rebuilt the account across five geo-targeted campaigns and fixed offline conversion tracking with an Apps Script pulling real deal values from HubSpot.
Result
Bidding now optimizes toward actual revenue per lead, with a corrected Looker Studio dashboard.
Coaching Platform

Meta Pixel & GTM tracking build

Problem
No reliable tracking existed across the platform's grader app and challenge funnel.
What I did
Built a comprehensive Meta Pixel and GTM implementation across both properties, plus an automated Apps Script coaching-question submission system.
Result
Full-funnel visibility from first touch through in-app engagement.
Field Services

CRM-to-Google-Ads offline conversions

Problem
Leads captured in the CRM had no path back to the ad platform to show which clicks became paying jobs.
What I did
Scoped and built a GoHighLevel-to-Google-Ads offline conversion pipeline connecting closed-won leads to the originating click.
Result
Google Ads can now optimize toward booked jobs instead of form fills alone.
