How I work · Step 02

Conversion tracking setup that counts every sale

Before any budget is scaled, tracking is fixed. GA4, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel, the Conversions API and offline conversions are set up so Google Ads and Meta Ads optimise for real sales and leads.

Conversion tracking setup

Google Ads and Meta Ads are only as smart as the data they receive. If conversion tracking misses sales, double counts leads or tracks the wrong actions, automated bidding optimises toward the wrong people and your reports cannot be trusted.

That is why the second step of Saifur Saif's process is web analytics and conversion tracking. It is the foundation behind the $25M+ in sales generated through the Google and Meta campaigns he has run.

GA4 and Google Tag Manager setup

Google Analytics 4 is configured with the right events, key events, eCommerce reporting and consent mode. Every tag is managed through a clean, documented Google Tag Manager container, so tracking is easy to test, change and maintain.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API

For Facebook and Instagram Ads, the Meta Pixel is paired with the server-side Conversions API and event deduplication. This recovers conversions lost to ad blockers and privacy settings and improves event match quality.

Google Ads conversions and offline tracking

Google Ads conversion tracking is set up with enhanced conversions and, for lead generation businesses, offline conversion imports from your CRM, so Smart Bidding learns which clicks become qualified leads and paying customers.

Track FAQs

Common questions about this step.

Why is conversion tracking important?
Ad platforms optimise toward the conversions they can see. Accurate tracking helps Google Ads and Meta Ads find more real customers and makes reporting trustworthy.
What is server-side tracking?
Server-side tracking sends conversion data from a server you control rather than only from the browser, making it more reliable and less affected by ad blockers.
Can you track phone calls and form fills?
Yes. Calls, form submissions, bookings and chat enquiries can all be tracked and, where possible, connected to your CRM.
Can you fix my existing GA4 setup?
Yes. Existing setups are audited first, then corrected. See the web analytics service or book a free strategy call.
